Aniruddha Ghosh

Aniruddha is a Consultant with over 20 years of professional experience in technology and finance, and he has called Switzerland home since 2007. A pivotal member of the Indian community, he has served on multiple executive committees of various organizations, gaining respect and appreciation for his contributions. Married to Sweta, a seasoned HR professional and trained classical dancer, he is also a doting father to a daughter who is often his partner in crime at home.

From an early age, Aniruddha has been passionate about theater, public speaking, and event anchoring, with countless performances to his credit. Known for his creative flair, he brings a thoughtful, artistic touch to every event he organizes, making each experience memorable. A people person at heart, he is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, connected community.

Anita Jain

Anita is a chef at Museum Rietberg, where she brings her passion for cooking to life by creating delightful culinary experiences. Before joining the museum, she successfully ran her own catering business, showcasing her creativity and love for food.

She is also a devoted mother of two wonderful daughters and is grateful for the constant love and support of her husband, who encourages her passions every step of the way.

Beyond her professional life, Anita enjoys dancing, exploring new artistic hobbies, going on peaceful walks, listening to music, and simply unwinding.

Mohit Kapoor

Mohit is a software developer who moved to Zürich 6 years ago to pursue his Master's Degree at ETH. He is a Computer Vision Engineer, passionate about 3D reconstruction. During his student days, he served as an EC member for Indian Student Association of Zürich, and is a well connected personality in the student community.

When not working, Mohit enjoys photography, likes hiking, loves to cook a variety of dishes and is always ready to shake a leg. Continuing to serve the community is his driving force which brought him to IAGZ.

Ranjani Madhavan

Ranjani Madhavan has lived in Switzerland for 18 years and is one of the founding members of the Indian Association of Greater Zurich (IAGZ). She served as the president in 2012 and has always been passionate about sharing Indian culture with the Swiss community. Ranjani loves helping younger generations discover the joy and richness of Indian traditions.

Originally from Bangalore, India, Ranjani works in Zurich, contributing to impactful initiatives in the waste-to-energy sector. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her curious and energetic 10-year-old son and husband, reading non-fiction, staying involved in her son’s school life, and meeting new people.

Ranjani is excited to continue supporting IAGZ and fostering connections that celebrate culture and community.

Vallari Shah

Vallari, had for long, harboured the quintessential Bollywood dream of dancing in a chiffon saree atop the snow capped mountains of Switzerland and indeed the universe conspired to give it to her!

She moved to this Alpine land in 2018 with her 'cricketer in the garb of an engineer' husband. She works as a professional tour guide, enthralling travelers from all around the world with trips to Switzerland's gorgeous towns, lakes & mountains. She is also a certified Yoga & Wellness Coach with a steady practice in Zürich.

Vallari's hobbies are myriad and involve pole dancing, skating, swimming, reading, running, traveling & just about anything that nourishes her soul.

Her purpose for serving as a member of the IAGZ is to actively be a part in organising all the fun events that bring together the Indian diaspora and also champion our desi culture.

Treasurer

Bharat Kashyap

Bharat Kashyap has been living in Zürich for the past 10 years and is a seasoned Risk Management professional. He is actively involved in supporting local events and has genuine passion for bringing people and communities close.

He is supported by his wife, Shweta, a talented cake artist who is highly regarded in the Indian community in Zürich. He is proud father of two loving daughters, who are the core of his heart.

Bharat loves immersing himself in nature through occasional trail walks and enjoys spending time in the kitchen, cooking for family and friends.

Priyadarshini Prakash

Priyadarshini is an IT professional originally from Bengaluru, India, and currently based in Zurich. With over a decade of experience in the IT industry across India and Europe, she enjoys balancing professional growth with her love for bringing people together.

Outside of work, she has a strong passion for community building and has been actively involved with Indian committees across Germany, Poland, and Switzerland. From organizing corporate events to cultural gatherings, she loves creating spaces where people can connect, celebrate, and feel at home.

She’s married to Manjunath, an amazing partner and an IT consultant, who is her biggest supporter and constant source of motivation. She deeply values the lessons taught by her parents - perseverance, humility, and a spirit of service which continue to guide her journey.

She loves to travel, explore new places, cook & try flavorful dishes, soaking in music, dancing her heart out and enjoy life’s fun little moments.

Driven by her enthusiasm for community, culture, and connection, she’s excited to join IAGZ as part of the executive committee and looks forward to creating meaningful impact together.

About the Executive Committee (EC)
The Executive Committee (EC) members are elected or selected from within the community and serve in this role on a voluntary basis. It is important to note that EC members are not directors, as the IAGZ operates as a 'Verein' (a registered association under Swiss law) and not as a commercial entity.
