Thomas has been a musician since his childhood. Influenced by the music of the legend Pandit Ravi Shankar, he actually started learning and playing Sitar in the 1980s, during his stay in the historical city of Varanasi. Thomas performs Hindustani Classical Music regularly in Switzerland, and has also performed in other countries around the world. Apart from his pure classical performances, Thomas also works closely with other musicians in cross cultural productions.

Born and brought up in Pune, a city with rich musical environment, Shrirang Mirajkar was attracted to music, especially towards Tabla, at a very young age. With the keen support of his parents, Shrirang was initiated into the art of Tabla playing by his Guru, Late Ustad Gulam Rasool Khan, from whom he learnt the art for twelve years. Shrirang continues to learn from the great maestro Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri. Over a span of forty years, Shrirang has performed with many great musicians from India, like Ustad Shahid Parvez, Ustad Sujat Khan, Sawani Shende and Smt. Maneesha Sathe, to name a few. Shrirang lives in the greater Zurich area, and is an active performer and organizer of Indian Classical Music in Switzerland.
