The Observer Research Foundation(New Delhi) (ORF) and the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius (Hamburg) will host the sixth annual Asian Forum on Global Governance (www.afgg.in) from October16 to 25, 2016, at New Delhi, India.
The Asian Forum on Global Governance engages successful young politicians,diplomats, business leaders, journalists, civil society representatives and scholars from around the world in an annual dialogue on current political,economic and social questions, with special emphasis on Asia. The Forum aims to provide an instructional and networking platform for young professional leaders to discuss, debate and challenge conventional interpretations of the complex realities of today.
The interactions are with high-ranking political, business, and academic figures.As you may be aware, the participants will become part of the network of over thousand alumni from the Asian Forum on Global Governance and the Bucerius Summer School, Hamburg.
The ORF and the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius would like to cordially invite you to nominate a competent and promising participant in the Asian Forum on Global Governance 2016.
The ORF are looking for bright and promising men and women who can make a valuable contribution to the Forum. They should have acquired meaningful professional experience in their respective fields’ and should be on the threshold of an outstanding career. To get the best out of the Forum, professional fluency in English is essential.
The ORF would highly appreciate your recommending a qualified young candidate,between 28 and 35 years of age, to attend the Asian Forum on Global Governance2016. The ORF is a not-for-profit, multidisciplinary public policy think tank engaged in developing and discussing policy alternatives on a wide-range of issues of national and international significance. Some of ORF’s key areas of research include international relations, defence, security, politics and governance,resources management and economy and development. Its mandate is to conduct in-depth research, provide inclusive platforms and invest in tomorrow’s thought leaders today.
The ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius was established by Gerd Bucerius, the founder and publisher of Germany’s leading weekly DIE ZEIT. Since 1971, the foundation has been involved in the funding of projects in various fields of science and research, education and training, as well as arts and culture.
